Zarboth fut initié par Étienne Gaillochet et Phil Reptil en 2009. Ils produisent 3 albums et tournent chaque année. Ils sont rejoint en 2015 par Macdara Smith pour former le trio actuel qui a sorti son 4° album en 2021 produit par Vincent Mahey sur le label PeeWee !
En juin 2023 deux nouveaux titres sont enregistrés en live au studio Sextan avec le trio Journal Intime. En voici un premier : « Cracks Through The Bars Of Your Mind »
